Kindly review this policy thoroughly prior to reserving a charter. By reserving a charter through EquitableAccessCenter, you are confirming your consent to the conditions of these refund terms.

Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Full reimbursement excluding processing charges

Processing Time: 5-7 working days

Processing Fee: €50 for credit card operations

Conditions: Must be formally requested via electronic mail or telephone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the entire charter cost

Processing Time: 7-10 working days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund

Conditions: Cancellation must be substantiated; administrative fees are applicable

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: No repayments available

Exception: Urgent situations may be evaluated

Alternate Option: Charter credits may be granted at the discretion of management

Conditions: Proof required for emergency cases

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety prevails. If sailing conditions are judged as hazardous by our professional captain, we provide flexible solutions:

  • Full Refund: Issued if no rescheduling is feasible
  • Reschedule: Postpone your charter to an alternative available date without extra expense
  • Charter Credit: A credit good for one year from the initial charter date

Weather Assessment Process

Our evaluation of meteorological conditions includes:

  • Analyzing wind velocity and direction
  • Evaluating wave heights and ocean status
  • Forecasting visibility and precipitation
  • Notices and alerts from the Coast Guard
  • The safety assessment by our professional captain

Decision Deadline: Decisions about cancellations due to weather are made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Situations

We are empathetic to the occurrence of sudden medical emergencies. The instances below may receive special consideration:

  • Unforeseen sickness or injury necessitating hospital care
  • Demise in the immediate family
  • Military mobilization or urgent summon
  • Jury service or court subpoena
  • Natural catastrophes impacting travel

Documentation Requirements

To address requests for emergency refunds, kindly supply:

  • Medical certification or hospital records
  • Official death certificate (as applicable)
  • Authorized military directives
  • Legal summons or jury notice
  • Emergency declarations or travel warnings

Refund Procedure: Emergency repayment claims are processed within 3-5 working days after receiving the necessary evidence.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Troubles

Should the yacht reserved encounters technical complications which remain unresolved:

  • Substitute Vessel: We will seek to allocate a different comparable yacht
  • Full Refund: Offered when no adequate replacement is available
  • Partial Refund: Issued if the substitution yacht’s pricing differs
  • Recompense: Extra compensation might be provided due to inconveniences

Unavailable Crew

In the unusual event that an approved crew member is unavailable:

  • An alternative crew may be arranged if feasible
  • Complete refund should the charter be unable to proceed
  • Option to reschedule without further fees

Refund Processing

Reimbursement Method

Repayments are concluded using the original payment method provided during reservation:

  • Credit Cards: Processed within 5-7 working days
  • Bank Transfers: Settled within 7-10 working days
  • Cash/Cheque: Finalized within 3-5 working days

Credit Card Procedures

€50 charge for cancellations with a notice above 72 hours

Bank Transfer Operations

€25 charge for all bank transfer repayments

Foreign Transactions

Extra charges may be applicable for international operations

Charter Credits

Instances for Credit Issuance

Credits for future charters may be provided as an alternative to cash refunds under these circumstances:

  • Unexpected cancellations (within 24 hours before the charter)
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather
  • Voluntary requests for rescheduling
  • Interruptions related to yacht operations

Conditions of Credits

  • Validity Period: One year from the date of issue
  • Transferring: Credits cannot be transferred to other individuals
  • Value: Equivalent to the full charter price (exempt from processing fees)
  • Redemption: Applicable towards any future available charter
  • Extension: No prolongation beyond the one-year period

Partial Service Reimbursements

Charter Disruption

In the event that your charter gets interrupted or reduced due to reasons we control:

  • A proportional return based on the unconsumed duration
  • Credit equal in value for future charters
  • Free services or enhancements

Guest-Induced Interruptions

If a charter ends prematurely due to passenger misbehavior or security breaches:

  • Unused time will not be refunded
  • Full charter amount remains owed
  • Extra costs may be applied

Dispute Resolutions

In the event of a disagreement pertaining to a refund judgment, you have the option to:

  • Request an inspection by our administrative team
  • Present additional evidence or records
  • Search for a solution via consumer protection authorities
  • Engage in any legal course of action as permitted by the law

Our team will confirm receipt of your petition within one day, assess it as per this policy, provide a verdict within two days, and process sanctioned repayment within the specified durations.

Critical Notes

  • All requests for reimbursements must be presented in written form
  • Repayments are executed in €, irrespective of the initial transaction currency
  • Purchasing travel insurance is highly advocated
  • This documentation may be updated, given 30 days' notice
  • Refunds are subject to applicable tax laws and regulations
